Olivia Ponton left a Hype House bedroom by texting the group chat "oh be out, I love you all, peace," moved to New York because her agency said VS would never happen from LA, and then it happened — Victoria's Secret, two years of SI Swimsuit, and now a books podcast, because the internet's beach girl reads 600-page fantasy novels in three days.
Olivia Ponton grew up in Naples, Florida, waterskiing competitively — "it's like cheerleading but on skis" — and running track her whole life. The plan was a track scholarship; the decision night had the FIU acceptance letter printed next to a modeling contract. Wilhelmina signed her off bright-pink-bikini phone digitals at about 17.
Then COVID froze modeling and TikTok exploded: a bedroom workout video hit millions of views in a day, the Hype House recruited her by DM at 500K followers, and she grew to four million in a couple of months as the house's only single girl.
She left LA entirely for New York, switched to IMG, and booked the dream: Victoria's Secret — she has the Angel tattoo — plus back-to-back SI Swimsuit years, the first shot on a freezing 16-hour day in Montenegro. Since October 2025 she hosts Booked and Busy, a book-club podcast. She came out around 2021; pansexual is the label she's used since.
